Hello Everyone,
Spring is around the corner! I hope everyone was able to get out an d enjoy the winter season.
Along with the sunshine and warmer temperatures, spring can bring issues that affect our roads as the frost begins to come out. The Shafer Township Board members will be doing our spring road tour soon to identify the problem areas. If you see any issues that we need to be aware of, please contact John Schmaltz, John Hoffman or Mark Stovern. Contact information is in the OUR ELECTED OFFICIALS tab above. You may also leave a message using the chat feature in the lower part of this webpage. As always, please slow down if you encounter a problem spot on a roadway; speed hurts the road as well as your vehicle.
Spring also brings field work for our local farmers. Please give the farmers the room they need to get their work done.
We can accomplish great things if we all work together.
